Hello, I'm writing to you from NH. Our youngest son, David is the survivor of a sexual offender a couple of years ago. He is doing well today.
David's Sword is a children's book and it is David's true story, tastefully written, with his real name and his picture. This is to encourage other children that indeed, it is safe to tell. Only 10% of children disclose, and it is David's goal, and ours as well, to reach the other 90%. It is a faith-based book as it is David's true story, and also many times children are threatened into silence, with religion used as a weapon. We are convinced this little book is powerful, and it has already been added to the Resource List for Sexual Assault Support Services which reaches thousands of children each year.

It is the first in a series of four.

David has a powerful testimony, and most importantly, he has the capacity to reach other children (an unknown, vast number) who are walking this path.
David will make a gift of each of the four books in this series to every capital city Dept. of Human Services in the U.S. He is a featured speaker at a Take Back the Night event this Spring, and is doing very well. He is a strong and steady voice for the goodness of God, and a champion of children who are trapped in sexual abuse.
