Below you can access copies of the questionnaires being used by the UCL in their research.

If you are a female survivor of both drug-rape and non-drug related rapes (as a comparison of these types of assault for their psychological impact is the aim) please could you complete the following questionnaires.

You are welcome to indicte your answers by highlighting them in another colour or making them bold, instead of 'ticking' or 'circling' answers as indicted on the questionnaires themselves.

  • A letter explaining the rationale behind the project and what taking part involves.

  • The PTCI (post-traumatic cognitions inventory): This assesses how survivors have made sense of or evaluated the traumatic experience, an important factor in the development of PTSD.

  • The PTDS (Post Traumatic Diagnostic Schedule): This assesses for post-traumatic stress symptoms, such as arousal, intrusive memories and avoidance.

  • The HADS (Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale): This is a brief measure of depression and anxiety.

  • The Sexual Assault Memories Questionnaire: This was designed by our research team, specifically to evaluate how survivors of sexual assault have remembered the attack over time, whether they have had flashbacks, and the extent of their memory. We hope to look at the relationship between the answers on this questionnaire and symptoms of PTSD/ depression etc.
