A small yet effective rape support group meets regularly at
Port Elizabeth Lifeline offices. A secure and loving environment;
counsellors always present; survivors share their stories, pain and
healing and bravely support each other.
To witness their healing is miraculous and I feel so privileged to be part
of the group. I was raped 8 years ago and have been a firm part of the
group for 3 years now. I recommend support groups to all survivors; having
family members and loved ones attend can also be a great benefit to them.
