Volunteers for women farm workers subjected to abuse, Cape Town, 15 March 2006

Hello,
I would like to know if I can join as a volunteer for the programme for women farm workers subjected to abuse.
I live in the Stellenbosch area and would like to serve my immediate community. At a student of the University of Stellenbosch, I am form part of the Peer Education team for HIV/AIDS awareness on campus, so I might be able to help with that. I would however also be keen on being involved with the other activities.
It would be greatly appreciated if you could let me know how I could go about to get involved with this programme.

Hi Lizl, you could phone Cosatu in your town or ideally Cape Town for a number for SHEP, alternatively there is another very good group in the Western Cape called Women on Farms that does excellent work the number will be in the Cape Town directory.
